When your mind is in non-reaction and non-attachment, it is neutral. The Neutral Mind allows you to connect to the voice of your Infinite Self, be aware of your colored perception, and shift to perceive the bigger picture. When you’re in the Neutral Mind, you can watch your thoughts without creating drama stories and hold the vibration that you are a Divine Infinite being.
The following meditation is from the tradition of Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan.
Meditation for a Neutral Mind
Tune in with the mantra “Ong Namo Guru Dev Namo” three times.
Sit in a chair or on the floor with a straight spine.
Place both hands in your lap with palms facing up and your right hand in the left.
Take a few deep breaths and allow all tension to release from your body.
Close your eyes.
Imagine radiance and peace enveloping you as you sit.
With your eyes still closed, bring your gaze to the brow point, between the eyebrows at the root of the nose. Imagine energy collecting there.
Allow your natural meditative slow flow of breath.
Keep concentrating at the brow point and mentally chant each syllable distinctly of the mantra "Wah-Hay Goo-Rue.” (Wahe Guru means to move out of darkness into the light.)
Call on your Infinite Self to help you move effortlessly through all blocks and surrender to the Infinite.
Continue for up to 17 minutes and go as long as 31 minutes.
